AsianFin--China's refined copper exports hit an all-time high last month, as a slowdown in domestic demand led smelters to seek international markets.
In June, shipments surged to 157,751 tons, more than double the 74,000 tons exported in May and surpassing the previous record of 102,000 tons set in 2012, according to customs data released on Sunday. This surge in exports follows recent data indicating a significant increase in both unwrought copper and copper products being shipped abroad.
