AsianFin--TikTok is set to launch its in-app shopping platform in Spain and Ireland as early as October, marking a revival of its stalled effort to expand its e-commerce business in Europe. 

ByteDance's social media giant has recently informed partners, including merchants and creator agencies, to prepare for the debut of TikTok Shop in these two countries, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The initial rollout will be smaller than originally planned, but preparations are already underway for a broader expansion to other European regions next year, the sources said, requesting anonymity due to the sensitivity of the information.
